Simon Margolis
Group Chairman
Simon qualified in Medicine from the Universities of St Andrews and Manchester, subsequently working in several hospital posts and as a General Practitioner before founding Premex in 1996.
In 2012 Simon was appointed as Chairman of AMRO for a second term having previously held the position in 2006 when he was heavily involved in the formation of the MRO agreement which followed on from the case of Woollard v Fowler.

Doug Laver
Finance Director
Doug is a Chartered Accountant who spent the early part of his career working for a number of major Insurance companies. Doug joined Capita in 2004 and supported their rapid growth in the financial services BPO market through contract wins and acquisitions, subsequently working across much of the company’s portfolio of private and public sector businesses as Divisional Finance Director. Doug joined Premex in July 2017 as Group Finance Director.

Peter Sleigh
Managing Director
Following a 26 year career in Banking, most latterly as Regional Director for RBS Commercial Banking in the North of England, he has joined the group with a strong background in finance and operational management. Peter is focussed on delivering ongoing growth for the business in a financially stable, sustainable way whilst retaining a close eye on service delivery.

Mark Rimmer
Head of Fraud
With more than 20 years experience working in the Insurance Fraud Investigation sector Mark has worked with all cases from opportunistic insurance fraud to UK-wide organised fraud rings.
Drawing upon his previous experience in the finance sector he established our Recovery Division, adding ‘Track & Trace’ and establishing assets for pre-litigation closure to the AGS Risk Solutions portfolio. Having set up the AGS Intelligence Team in 2006 and centralising all intelligence within the current ExamWorks database, Mark coordinated a number of successful high profile organised fraud investigations through industry and law enforcement liaison. Following his recent role as Heads of Intelligence, Mark is now Head of Fraud ensuring we remain at the fore of intelligence led fraud investigations.

Ann Lomax
Senior Client Relationship Manager
Ann has been with the business since its inception in December 2006 and worked in the insurance claims arena for over 30 years. She has been a Claims Handler for Aviva and AGF Insurance handling motor, household, EL/PL and travel before progressing to a Claims Inspector position.
She is responsible for developing client relationships, leading sales and ensuring we deliver the right service every time, using her technical knowledge and claims experience to enable her to understand our customers and assist in developing new processes and products.

Joanna Unsworth
Head of Operations
Joanna joined the business in 2006 has over 30 years’ experience in motor, household EL/PL theft and fraud claims as a claims handler, vehicle examiner and claims inspector.
As Technical Operations Manager, Joanna is responsible for the recruitment, training, development & performance of operational employees, supported by a team of Managers she is also focussed on compliance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Caroline Russell
General Counsel and Head of Compliance
Caroline joined Premex in 2009 and advises the Premex Group in respect of a wide range of legal and compliance matters. Caroline is responsible for driving forward the Premex Group compliance and risk management programme, helping to ensure that the Premex ethos of continual improvement and active risk management is the forefront of the Group strategy.
Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and spent seven years as a corporate lawyer in Manchester, initially with Brabners Chaffe Street and latterly as an associate with DLA Piper.

Tamsyn Haselden
Group HR Director
Tamsyn is a qualified HR professional (FCIPD) and Occupational Psychologist (AFBPsS) who has worked across a variety of business sectors. Starting her career with Royal Mail Group and then Reckitt Benckiser, Tamsyn is dedicated to delivering strong commercially-focused outcomes for the business. Change management and high performance are critical factors to business success and both involve bringing our people with us on the journey.
