Examworks Investigation Services is a leading claims investigation company providing insurance, banking, retail and other sectors with a range of innovative and cost effective services.
Here at Examworks Investigation Services we are looking for a Claims Technician to join our team on a permanent, full time basis. This can be from our Bolton office or based as a home worker, depending on location.
As a Claims Technician you will be required to complete investigation reports following investigations made out in the field. You will be able to provide advice on both liability and indemnity related matters. You will possess a good understanding of the motor claims process, exposure to fraud, personal injury and credit hire are all pre-requisites as is the ability to argue and agree liability decisions. Knowledge of the Motor Insurance Bureau Uninsured and Untraced Agreements would be an advantage.
You will need to be able to work to tight timescales, complete and compile investigation reports, conduct telephone and/or video interviews as required. You would need to be able to plan and prioritise your workloads to ensure cases are actioned within agreed service levels. You will also be able to build relationships with clients and be focused on delivering excellent customer service.

Excellent experience in the Claims Industry, ideally from within an Insurer or Solicitor environment.
A good knowledge of Motor claims handling.
Be able to provide an opinion on liability offering different viewpoints.
Have a good understanding of the CPR Rules and Guidelines.
Experience in Motor Theft, Fraud and Claimant are also desirable, but not essential.
You will need to be target driven.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
5 GCSE’s Grade C or above, must include English and Math’s
Experience of working within a high pressured / target driven environment.
Experience of working with customers and building client relationships.
Computer literate – as a minimum in: Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
