Thousands gathered at Leverhulme Park on Sunday 5th July for Bolton's Race for Life, including nine of the Insight girls.
Every year Cancer Research organises a series of nationwide races for women to share their stories of courage, sadness and celebration and raise thousands of pounds for research into cancer.
Everyone gathered for a mass warm up session, with all runners limbering up before taking on the gruelling 5km cross country route. The girls were in high spirits all day and crossed the finish line within the hour with big smiles on their faces to receive their well deserved pink medals.
The girls have managed to raise just under £300 - a fantastic amount - with donations still coming in. Congratulations to them for their wonderful efforts!
The Bolton Race for Life is expected to raise more than £100,000.
Well done to everyone who participated.
